A failing retaining wall was pushing into the brick support wall beneath a Davenport porch. Behncke Construction removed the damaged sections, installed drainage behind the retaining wall, rebuilt the wall section, and reconstructed the brick masonry support wall.
Poor exterior drainage was letting water reach a Moline foundation. Behncke Construction sealed the foundation from the exterior, repaired a damaged section, tuckpointed deteriorated masonry, blocked in an unused window, installed new window wells, regraded with topsoil, and replaced the deteriorated sidewalks with new concrete.
Water was getting in at the foundation, but this home did not need an interior drain tile system. Behncke Construction sealed the exterior foundation crack and installed 52 feet of lawn drainage to carry water away from the house and discharge it toward the creek.
Behncke Construction stabilized a failing foundation wall in Davenport with four steel I-beam braces set in continuous mortar, then tuckpointed and sealed the damaged mortar joints. The wall was stabilized in place rather than forced back.
