Project details
Each of the four openings had the old window removed and a new mortar-set glass block unit installed and sealed against air and water intrusion. Glass block is solid and mortared into the opening, so there is no operable sash to rust or fail — which is what makes it more durable and lower-maintenance than a typical steel or wood basement window.
