Project overview

Behncke Construction replaced several aging basement windows in the concrete block foundation of this Davenport home.

On the job

The crew removed the outdated pull-down and push-up basement windows and installed new glass block windows in their place, a durable, low-maintenance upgrade with no wood frames to rot, paint to peel or metal to rust. Properly fitted and sealed, they help keep rain and drafts from coming in around the openings.

Serving the Quad Cities since 1948, Behncke Construction specializes in foundation repair, masonry restoration and basement improvements, and understands the older block foundations these windows go into.
