Concrete Driveway Replacement — Davenport, Iowa
Concrete Driveway Replacement — Davenport, Iowa
The problem
A repeat customer’s concrete driveway in Davenport, Iowa had settled over the years and was directing water into the garage.
How we diagnosed it
The driveway had settled enough to pitch water back toward the home and into the garage. Correcting the grade — not just replacing the slab — was the key to keeping water away long term.
Our solution
We replaced the driveway and corrected the grade to improve drainage and help move water away from the home. The project included a new 65′ × 16′ concrete driveway, a new concrete pad alongside it, removal of old railroad ties and patio stones, a new concrete border, an extended front stoop landing, and a new sidewalk to the front door. Every driveway we install is built on a properly prepared base and finished with a high-quality cure and seal for proper curing, added protection, and a long-lasting finish.

What makes our approach different
Proper drainage is one of the best ways to help protect your garage, basement, and foundation from future water problems — so we corrected the grade as part of the replacement instead of simply pouring a new slab in the old shape. Serving Davenport and the Quad Cities since 1948.
